Here is a quote from the front page: “Want to compare several vehicles in your price range? The Fuelist has you covered. Whether you are searching for the classic car of your dreams, comparing investment opportunities, or have come across that rare barn find, let the Fuelist’s Data-Driven Valuations power your decision — anytime, anywhere.”

When I looked at this for the first time, I was in awe of what has been created. This is something that has been needed for anyone serious about buying and selling cars. I can see the future of this tool in the hands of people buying and selling at auctions as they make their bids.

This company has put thousands of man hours into developing this tool (I call it a tool as it does the work for you) of what cars sold for and builds a data base of those sales. You can click on the graph of the sales to see individual cars and compare cars in the same price range.

This is the quote from the ABOUT page:

“The true value of a vehicle is what someone is willing to pay for it. To put a realistic price on a collector or classic vehicle requires comparable vehicle sale information and a clear understanding of exactly what was sold and how it was sold.

Thousands of collector and classic vehicles change hands every month, transaction information–when available–is spread among many different sources, from online and live auctions to forums. The Fuelist continuously collects in-depth details for every one of these sales, from prices and locations, to original vehicle specifications, modifications and beyond. This mountain of data is organized into a single, centralized database.”

What do I have to do? Just input in your make, model , year(s) if you desire (or just let it show you all the cars for that model), it generates a data base from high to low and as far back as 6 months to 10 years potentially. On the bottom of the graph of sales, you can see the average price sold, median price sold, high and low sales, and graphing options. As you make your changes, it automatically updates your search. (It is fast!)

You need this tool! Seriously if you are into cars or even curious about what cars sell for, you need to get this tool/app for your phone so you can buy in confidence that you are buying smart and informed.
